Our Story

Vanished Aesthetics began in 2011 when founder Deanna McAllister, MSN, MHA-HI, FNP-BC, FAAMM, launched a traveling injectable studio driven by her passion for helping others feel confident in their own skin. In 2015, we opened our first brick-and-mortar location in Bloomington, creating a welcoming space where clients could experience private, personalized care in an elegantly designed environment.

Over the past 14 years, we’ve grown from advanced injectables and laser treatments into a comprehensive wellness destination. Today, Vanished Aesthetics combines state-of-the-art aesthetic services with functional medicine approaches—addressing not just how you look, but how you feel from the inside out.

Meet Our Expert Team

Deanna McAllister

MSN, MHA-HI, FNP-BC, FAAMM (Founder)
Deanna is a mother of four with more than 20 years in the medical field and 14 years specializing in aesthetics. She holds advanced degrees in both Nursing and Healthcare Administration and is certified in aesthetics, bio-identical hormones, and functional medicine. With an artistic approach and a genuine passion for caring for others, Deanna brings clients their best-possible outcomes while integrating true wellness into every treatment plan. Deanna is often described as proactive, artistic, passionate, direct and deeply caring.

MICHELLE LEE

FNP-BC
Michelle brings extensive experience in family practice and weight loss. Since joining Vanished in 2022, she has provided virtual care for Bioidentical Hormone Replacement, GI-Mapping, Weight-loss, and Peptide Therapies. Licensed in multiple states, Michelle allows us to extend our services beyond Indiana. Patients describe her as intelligent, thorough, patient, and a delight to work with.

MENDY MULLIS

PA-C
Mendy is a Certified Physician Assistant with a Bachelor’s in Nutrition Science from Indiana University and a Master’s in Physician Assistant Studies from Wichita State University. With over 15 years of experience in Family Medicine, Mendy completed training through the Institute of Functional Medicine. She cares deeply for her patients and is passionate about guiding them on their path to wellness. A native of Lawrence County, Mendy enjoys cooking, reading, and spending time with her husband and two children. Her clients feel quickly comfortable with her patient and thorough approach to the functional medicine space.

CARLIE EASTON

CLT, RN
Carlie is a Registered Nurse Injector and Certified Laser Technician trained by the National Laser Institute. She expertly combines her knowledge of lasers and injectables to maximize patient outcomes throughout their aesthetic care plans. Carlie is also certified in weight loss and bioidentical hormone replacement therapy and is currently furthering her education as a family nurse practitioner. She is described as kind, energetic, empathetic and great at her art.

LANIA GARRISON

RN
Lania, a Registered Nurse Injector, has been with Vanished since January 2022. A Bloomington native, she has a passion for both aesthetics and wellness and is certified in bioidentical hormone replacement therapy and weight-loss.

KAYLA NOLAN

RN
Kayla joined Vanished in 2023 and has quickly excelled in her injecting skills. Recently Biote-certified to place pellets, Kayla works in our Bloomington office and is described by clients as knowledgeable, confident, and comforting.

DAVID WYATT

CLT, LE
David is a Certified Laser Technician, Licensed Cosmetologist and Licensed Esthetician with more than eight years of experience. He loves skincare and prides himself on helping clients meet their goals. Known for his positivity, humor, and dedication, David ensures every client experience is valuable and results-driven.

Paula oversees daily operations, marketing, and regulatory compliance. She ensures that every service is offered according to procedural standards, that staff maintain appropriate credentials, and that our facilities are always in top shape.

Amanda Alumbaugh

Amanda is often your first point of contact when you call or visit. Amanda has worked as a phlebotomist and healthcare tech her whole life, bringing her uplifting personality to every patient encounter.   Amanda is dedicated to guiding you through every step of your experience at Vanished.

JENNIFER EAST,

PCC
Once a patient of ours, Jenny joined our team with years of operational experience in office management and customer service. She works diligently to answer your questions and make your experience seamless from check-in to check-out. She is also our operations manager, helping patients with any procedural concerns, charging errors, or difficulty navigating the scheduling journey. She is described as attentive to detail, easy to talk to and extremely helpful.
